Mean Mom
I think Crue must think I am the meanest mom because I won't let him have dog food. I've really tried to figure out how to keep him away from the bowl but I'm drawing a blank. If I put the food up then the dogs sit there and whine till I put it down. If it is anywhere on the floor Crue's got a sixth sense and bee lines for it. I really don't know what to do! I've caught him with up to 4 pieces of dog food in his mouth and three additional pieces in his hand. I'm not worried about him eating it as much as I'm worried he'll choke because he's stuffing so much in his mouth. Apparently I'm just going to have to watch my child.

Okay, this is my life EVERY STINKING DAY! What should we do??! I just don't know! Melia would eat Chief's food too if he didn't eat it ALL the SECOND I put it in his bowl. Instead she just likes to play in his bowl and ESPECIALLY in his water. That is DISGUSTING, and she gets all wet. Then she sticks her hands in her mouth and UGH! And it's the same thing, if I put it up, Chief will just cry--and never drink any water. I have tried EVERYTHING. I've tried just moving her away from it. I've tried freaking SCREAMING at her, I've even tried spanking her (I know, I really AM the meanest mom in the world) but to no avail. Today I did a "time out" in her crib. I doubt it did any good though. UGH! If you come up with a solution let me know. It frustrates me to no end!
we have the same problem with david. i can have just swept and mopped the floor and that stinker will crawl into the kitchen and come back chewing on SOMETHING! ...i'm considering a gate...
ps. i love the cry at the end. it's the "how dare you MOM! how dare you not let me do what i want!" cry. i hear it all the time out here! miss you guys.
haha that is so funny Shan! I guess I better soak up all the time I have with a immobile child.. soon she'll be getting into everything just like Crue!! :)
