We had Crue's 6 month appointment today and I wasn't at all suprised to find out that he was in the 20th percentile for height (25.5 in.) and weight (16 lbs). He's so tiny still but I'm hoping he might have a growth spurt soon now that he's eating baby food. Some new things Crue has been doing lately are holding on to the side of the couch and standing there by himself, when put into the sitting position he will sit there for quite awhile, he's definitely talking and screaming a lot more, and he is learning how to throw tantrums.! Yay! My mom actually noticed this last little trait while I was at her house yesterday. Apparently I have been babying my child. In my defense he has been sick with a runny nose, pink eye, and a cough(all of which he so loving passed to me) so when he would cry I would pick him up and try to comfort him because I knew he didn't feel very well. Anyway while I was over at my moms he started to scream while he was just sitting there with his toys and my mom looked at me and said, "thats a fake scream, do not pick him up just see what he does". Sure enough a few seconds later he was totally fine and found a new toy to play with. This scenario went on for a little while: he'd scream, we would ignore him, he would find something else to entertain him, he would get bored and....repeat. I do love my little buddy though, even when he is naughty and throws tantrums. Here are some random pictures in no particular order:

I loved this post! Your very cute little guy is growing up fast! I hope you're feeling better by-the-way. Not fair you caught something again. :( We need to have a park day soon or go swimming.
first of all, do you work out? cause your arms look fab in that last pic--i'm jealous.
anyway, crue reminds me so much of melia with those tantrums. i baby her WAY too much. she throws those fake fits too. they're pretty humorous. she's such a little stinker. and she arches her back JUST like crue when she throws fits. does he spit when he throws fits? that's her new big thing. she ALWAYS sticks her tongue out and blows, spitting when she's super mad. it's annoying but funny. lol. hey at least crue is proportional for height and weight. melia is 65th height but 20th weight!
we need to get these little ones together again! lets plan something. we missed you at the bachelorette night. you've gotta come next week cause katie is making dinner and bringing it. i am sure it'll be YUMMY!

Aaaahhhh!!! I just love your little guy, Shan..SO stinkin' cute! Don't ya just love it when they do that fake scream/cry for attention? Aiden's been doing it, too..little stink bug!
So, last week was such a great break..we need to do it again SOON!
