Work & Play

I decided to go back to work for a few hours Tues-Thurs. It's definitely nice to get out of the house and do something for myself but the best part about work is when I'm done and I get to go see my handsome little man! Being away from him makes me love him and appreciate our time together even more because I get the chance to miss him....if that makes sense. We are so lucky Crue has such wonderful grandparents that want to babysit him too. I never have to worry about him.
Crue's been such a good baby (minus the little mishaps I mentioned). He's never been one to just start screaming and cry for hours. He's been good natured from the beginning and I'm so thankful for that. He is the funniest kid I know. He is constantly moving and wiggling. Crue is usually either trying to stick both his hands in his mouth or he's blowing bubbles and sticking his tongue out. I don't remember the last time I got a dry kiss because he is constantly drooling. My favorite is when I start to blow bubbles and he mimicks me....it's amazing how fast kids can pick things up! About a week ago he rolled over for the first time but hasn't done it since so I'm hoping that with a little more tummy time I can get him to do it regularly. Crue also loves when we play peek-a-boo with him. He gives us the biggest grin every time we whip the blanket off his face! He is just so cute and we love him so much! People ask me all the time if I have given Crue a haircut because it's so even everywhere...nope that is just how it's growing!
I also need to mention how much Crue loves his daddy. Whenever he starts to cry and Mike starts singing "do your ears hang low" Crue stops. Lately Mike has been the one who swaddles and holds Crue when we do our nighttime routine and he somehow manages to put Crue to sleep faster than I ever did. Crue and his daddy are best buddies and I know that their love for each other will continue to grow as Crue gets older and starts getting into sports :)
