Update

I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Everyone says that they don't stay little very long but I didn't know how true that was until now. I feel like my little baby isn't a little baby. He doesn't like being held like a baby and he wants to hold his own bottle. He reaches for the spoon like he wants to feed himself and he's even learned to lift his legs when I go to put a diaper on him. I know he'll only become more independent from here on out and the thought of that breaks my heart. I don't even want to imagine the day when my little boy won't need me anymore. I love you little buddy!

(the funniest thing about this was some guy that was walking his dog came up and commented on Mikes new figure)

I need to explain this next picture. We were at my moms and Crue was really dirty so we decided to bath him. Kaisha was suppose to bring me the clean clothes to put him in but she ended up never showing up so he was all clean and had nothing to wear. The only thing my mom had the he would fit in was little girl dresses. This was the best thing we could find. He hated every minute in it (Mike wasn't too happy about this either). So now without further ado....

Happy Mothers Day!!

I'm so excited to celebrate my first Mothers Day!!! Nothing could have prepared me for motherhood...it's just something that I am learning as I go. Poor little Crue has to be my guinea pig but I'm hoping I haven't screwed up too badly. I love being a mom more than I thought I would and can't even imagine not having my little buddy with me. Crue is an amazing little boy, I'm so happy he chose me to be his mom. Getting up in the morning and walking into his room to see him get the biggest smile on his face when he sees me melts my heart. I think the love between a mom and her child can't be put into words..it's too special. Being a mom has also made me appreciate my own mom. So I just want to say thank you mom for always being there for me. I could go on and on but it would take too long to write about all the wonderful things you did/still do for me. I love you! I hope that I will be just as good a mom to my kids. I also need to thank Mike for making me feel special not only on this day but everyday. I was complaining to a coworker about how Mike doesn't load the dishwasher how I like or that he doesn't get the counters clean enough. She said that she would love her husband to help out, it wouldn't matter to her if he did it wrong or right as long as he helped. Then at church today I heard a lot of woman say how nice it is that there husbands are cooking dinner tonight so they don't have to worry about it. I thought this was so crazy because my husband cooks dinner for me EVERY night. I'm beginning to realize that I have a pretty amazing husband and he's such a great dad (but we will get to that post in a few weeks). Thanks Mike for everything you do and for the awesome gifts...I love you babe!!!

it's been awhile....

I know I haven't posted anything in awhile but I'm too tired to write an update so I'm just posting pictures of my cute little buddy. He's becoming more and more animated everyday and I love to watch his personality develop.

Crue: 4 months

I'm a little late on this post but life has been busy! I took Crue to the doctor last Monday and he is in the 34% for height, 14% for weight (he actually lost 6 oz. from the last time we were in) and 1% for head! He's a little on the small side but we're ok with that! Crue is starting to teeth and that's been really hard on all of us. He's never been a grumpy kid but now a days he seems so unhappy and I can't blame him. We started him on rice cereal and the first time he tried it he hated it but now he seems to really like it and even gives us big smiles as we are shoveling it into his mouth! Crue is also talking up a storm, grabbing at everything in sight, and is even starting to scoot a little bit. He LOVES playing with toys and sitting in his walker. He doesn't like to roll and has only done it a couple times (with help)....so we are working on that! He's really starting to get a personality and it's fun to watch. Mike and I can't get enough of him!

Vegas

Crue and I went to Vegas this past weekend with my mom and brothers to pick up Zac's new car. We flew down (Crue did amazing on the airplane) and then drove the car back home. We pretty much just relaxed, ate, laid out and shopped!

Here we are at the airport

Hitting up the buffets and other resturants

We went shopping at Town Square and it was so much fun...I can't wait to go back!

Just hanging out

The reason we went

Thank goodness on the way home he only made this face once...and it happened to be while we were at a gas station so we really lucked out!

Playdate

Although we may have looked like a circus with all the bags, carseats and kids we were hauling around, I can't wait till we get together again!
These little boys don't know it yet...but they are going to be great friends!

Easter

It's amazing how much more exciting the holidays are when you have a baby. I realize this will just get better when he's older and actually knows what's going on but...we still had fun! We also had a good time eating, watching conference and playing games with our families. I feel so blessed to have such a sweet little family and I don't think it can get much better than this. I love my boys.
